This is a sterling silver Tiffany & Co makers bowl. The Tiffany holloware pattern # 12245 puts the year of production at 1895 which makes this bowl 117 years old. There are NO dents or dings. There is an engraving that says "Albert Elbridge Stratton Jr from Aunt Louise". The bowl measures 5 1/2" accross at the top and 2 1/4" high. Weight is 236 grams. There is a very small 12/40 hand scratched under the production # and a 462 under the order #. I dont know if this means that this is #12 of only 40 made or not. If it is, then this would be a very special bowl. Would be nice. The order # on the bottom is 3145. This is a NO RESERVR auction.
