Less than 1" OD and once installed, only 1" of the length of filter visible. 1/4" barbed fittings. Don't let a dirty/rusty gas tank ruin your clean carb! Don't be lead down the yellow brick road of claims...Oh you can clean and reuse your filter! You just simply can't! Debris gets lodged into all the super tiny filtration areas of the bronze and it is imbedded for good. If the filter element was actually cleanable, then it would not filter worth a hoot!
